All Things Are Possible

Are All Things Really Possible?  “We have the ability within us to do that which is impossible, or at least that which is thought to be impossible.  Our own being has the potential to make seemingly impossible things happen.  What was once impossible…has now become possible!     It never was impossible, only impossible for that day or time.  Men through out time have dreamed or visualized things thought to be impossible.  An inventor is someone brave or foolish enough to turn the impossible into the possible, to turn a dream into a reality.”  [Steven 10-28-1982]

“Faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.”   Hebrews 11:1

Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”   Matthew 19:26

Jesus said to him, “‘If you can’! All things are possible for one who believes.” Immediately the father of the child cried out and said, “I believe; help my unbelief!”  Mark 9: 23-24

  1. “FORGIVENESS”……….All things are possible, even forgiveness…For 68 of my 69 years, that word was never a big part of my vocabulary….Not until my ex-wife took my computer, while telling me she had destroyed it or that she had thrown it in a dumpster…Inside that computer was 12 years worth of my artwork, on that hard drive, plus all my private information….GONE! Blood was squirting out of my eyes….My non Christian friends said “SUE her”, my Christian friends, (my brother Steven and my close friend David), said “FORGIVE HER Spike”!!! That is exactly what I did. .In my before life, with my pride, forgiveness seemed a weakness, only revenge would teach someone a lesson. I tell you this much, a lesson was learned and the person who it was taught too was Spike Cook, not my ex-wife…Yes! all things are possible, but they aren’t possible with all people, only one person….Jesus Christ!!!!!

  2. “All things for which you pray and ask, believe that you have received them and they will be granted unto you”. I believe, Lord. Help my unbelief. Teach me how to receive those things that I am asking you for.
Thanks, Steve, for your steady encouragement to the body of Christ
